About  Your Librarian

I am very excited to be your librarian!  I began my teaching career twenty-five years ago in London, England. I loved the history and culture of England and was very happy to have the opportunity to teach and travel.  When I returned to the United States, I taught high school history for five years.  I also had the opportunity to do volunteer work in the People's Republic of China.

I decided to become a middle school librarian because of my love for books.  I love being a librarian.  It allows me the opportunity to work with all of the students in the school.  I get to collaborate with teachers at all grade levels and I have the opportunity to speak with students about the books they love to read!

Our library has a variety of research databases as well as print books, eBooks, digital books, books on Nooks and playaways. I look forward to helping you find the books that are right for you!
